Gelcoat that looks like it just left the dealer
Mobile boat detailing across the Okanagan — wakeboats, cruisers and runabouts, at your driveway, storage yard or marina.

Why it matters
Okanagan water is hard on gelcoat.
Mineral-rich lake water leaves staining that regular washing won't lift. Add high-elevation UV through a long dry summer, and gelcoat chalks faster here than almost anywhere in Canada.
Oxidation is the expensive one. It starts as a dull haze, and left long enough it etches deep enough that polishing can't recover it — at which point you're looking at a respray rather than a detail.
Sealed gelcoat doesn't oxidise. That's the whole game.
Pricing
Priced by the foot, adjusted for condition.
Length overall, bow to stern. Condition matters as much as size — send photos and we'll quote firmly rather than vaguely.

PERSONAL WATERCRAFT
Jet skis, done properly.
Sea-Doo, Yamaha, Kawasaki — hull, deck, seats, storage and trailer. Priced flat rather than by the foot, because a jet ski is a jet ski.
PWCs take more abuse than most boats and get less attention. They sit on trailers in full sun, the seats bake and crack, and the hull picks up mineral staining at the waterline every time out. A full detail with sealant twice a season keeps the gelcoat from going chalky and the vinyl from splitting.
Bringing two? Second ski on the same visit is 15% off.

FULLY MOBILE
We come to your boat.
Driveway, storage compound, marina or boat launch. Most work is done with the boat on its trailer — we'll confirm access, water and power when we quote.
Correction and ceramic work needs the boat out of the water and somewhere it can stay put for a day or two. Everything else we can do wherever it sits.
No travel fee from Peachland to Lake Country. $50 to Vernon and Summerland, $75 to Penticton.
THE WORK

THE PROCESS
What correction actually involves.
01
Wash and decontaminate
Full wash, mineral and water-spot staining removed, surface decontaminated before any pad touches gelcoat.
02
Test panel first
We correct a small section to find the least aggressive combination that works. Gelcoat is softer than paint and starting aggressive is how people burn through.
03
Correct, then seal
Machine correction panel by panel, then sealant or ceramic. Bare corrected gelcoat starts oxidising again immediately.
BEFORE YOU BOOK
Common questions.
-
By the foot, measured length overall, then adjusted for condition. A boat washed every spring takes far less time than one that's sat three seasons uncovered. Send photos and we'll quote firmly.
-
Yes!
-
Usually, where access allows. Some marinas restrict washing or require an approved contractor — check with yours and tell us what they said when you book.
-
A wash and exterior detail on a 25-footer is most of a day. Oxidation correction is two to three days, and ceramic needs cure time on top.
-
Topside and interior work, yes. Correction and ceramic need the boat out and dry — the hull has to be accessible and the coating has to cure before it goes back in.
-
Spring fills up fast; everyone wants their boat ready the same week in May. Autumn storage prep has better availability and honestly does more good — sealed gelcoat doesn't oxidise over winter.
